The original model was broken into nine pieces and reconstructed, and can now be seen at the Statens historika museum in Oslo. The helmet is battle ready and is crafted from 2 mm thick steel, with double welding applied to both the inside and outside. The steel bands and the spectacles are welded to the helmet.
